We acknowledge that children develop at different rates. Some require some extra support to meet the curriculum or to be extended beyond the curriculum.
At St Elizabeth’s, we operate with a Student Support Team, which is comprised of Support Teacher (Inclusive Education), two Learning Enhancement Teachers (one consolidating learning and one focusing on extending beyond the curriculum), Guidance Counsellor, School Officers and other associated professionals.
In addition to our onsite staff, we have access to our BCE specific support staff, who include but are not limited to: Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Hearing and Vision specialists, ESL specialists and Specialised Education Officers.
All of our team members work collaboratively with students, teachers and parents to ensure that needs are identified and appropriate programs and interventions are put in place to extend or support students.
